All Riders, Walkers, and Crew-members must arrive at in Lucca Italy on Sunday, September 9, 2012 by 4:00pm (16,00h).

There will be a safety and orientation meeting at 6:00pm (18,00h) followed by our first group dinner.

Our travel recommendations:

We suggest you depart the USA on Friday (September 7, 2012) and arrive in Florence, Italy on morning of Saturday. September 8, 2012.  You can fly into any of the major cities in Italy, but Florence will be the easiest.  This will give you an extra day to get accustomed to the time change before you start Riding or Walking.  This extra day will also give you an opportunity to explore the great city of Florence.

We will be coordinating group travel from Florence to the town of Lucca and to to the Villa (and return) by train and coach transfer and will have this information available for you shortly.  The Villa is located just north of the town of Lucca.  We will depart Florence on Sunday Morning, from the group hotel, at 11am.

If you are flying into any other city, it is your responsibility to get yourself to and from the Villa or to the town of Lucca.  Please note the Villa is more than a 30 drive from the town of Lucca, so it is best if you take advantage of the group transfers.
