Scotland Walk or Ride

We do not have a Scotland Walk or Ride Scheduled for 2011.

Thanks to everyone for a great week!

Our Scotland Walk or Ride is a 7-day event with five full days of Riding or Walking through central Scotland. Riders, Walkers, and Crewmembers will gather in Meigle Scotland. Our "Camp," for the week is an 8th century Manor Home once belonging to King Robert the Bruce.  We will make day trips, out and back will be our base camp for the week and from where each day's cycling will begin.

There are several different registration options with different registration fees and minimum fundraising requirements.  We are sure you will be able to find one that will fit your budget and comfort level of fundraising.  Just about everything is included, like meals, accommodations, bike rental and more, what it does not include is transportation to and from Scotland.  For a complete list of what is and is not included please check out our  What's Included page.

You can choose one of our primary beneficiary's the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, or Breast Cancer Network of Strength, or you may designate an alternate beneficiary.  In either case your donations will be divided (after expenses if applicable) 80/20 20% to For A Cause and 80% to your designated beneficiary.   All designated beneficiaries must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as designated by the IRS.  Past Beneficiaries have included, the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Institute, The National Kidney Foundation, the National SIDS Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and God's Love We Deliver, just to name just a few of our past beneficiaries.

Scotland Walk or Ride is limited to 22 participants. Every day you will Walk or Ride to exciting and new towns experiencing the best that Scotland has to offer.  Then each night you will retire to your room and sleep on comfortable beds, that’s right no tents on this event.
