Scotland AIDS Bike Ride

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

We do not have a Scotland AIDS Ride Scheduled for 2010.

Thanks to everyone for a great week!

Our Scotland AIDS Bike Ride is a 7-day AIDS Ride with five full days of riding through central Scotland. Riders and Crewmembers will gather in Meigle Scotland. Our "Country Cottage," which is an 8th century Manor Home once belonging to King Robert the Bruce, will be our base camp for the week and from where each day's cycling will begin.

There are several different registration options with different registration fees and minimum fundraising requirements.  We are sure you will be able to find one that will fit your budget and comfort level of fundraising.  Just about everything is included, like meals, accommodations, bike rental and more, what it does not include is transportation to and from Amsterdam.  For a complete list of what is and is not included please check out our  What's Included page.

You can choose our primary beneficiary the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, or you may designate an alternate beneficiary.  In either case your donations will be divided (after expenses if applicable) 80/20 20% to For A Cause and 80% to your designated beneficiary.   All Rider designated beneficiaries must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as designated by the IRS.  Past Rider Beneficiaries have included, the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Institute, The National Kidney Foundation, the National SIDS Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and God's Love We Deliver, just to name just a few of our past Rider Beneficiaries.

Scotland AIDS Bike Ride is limited to 22 participants, 20 Riders and 2 Crewmembers. Every day you will ride to exciting and new towns experiencing the best that Scotland has to offer.  Then each night you will retire to your room and sleep on comfortable beds, that’s right no tents on this Ride. Each day's riding will be challenging and through it all you will assist your fellow Riders and maybe even help a Crewmember so everyone arrives back to our Base Camp safely.
