France - 2011 Walk or Ride

Thanks to everyone for an amazing week!

Individuals came together to make a difference for 7 beneficiaries by raising $50,000.00!  Throughout the week, we rode, we walked, we ate, we made new friends, and we even cried a little as we remembered loved ones that are no longer with us.  Thanks to everyone for an amazing week! 

The France Walk or Ride is a 7-day event with 5 full days of Riding or Walking through the Loire Valley region of France.  Riders, Walkers, and Crew-members will gather in the exciting town of Paris.  From there you will be transferred to our Castle, pictured below, where your adventure will begin.

You can designate either the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Breast Cancer Network of Strength, or choose your own beneficiary.  All beneficiaries must be 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as designated by the IRS.   Your donations will be divided between the beneficiaries 80/20.  80% to your designated beneficiary and 20% to For A Cause.

The France Walk or  Ride is limited to 30 participants.  Every day you will Ride or Walk to exciting and medieval towns, visit wineries, and every night you will experience home cooked French meals before you retire to your bedroom to sleep on comfortable beds, that’s right no tents on this event.  Each day’s Riding or Walking will be challenging, you will face many steep graded hills and less than perfect road conditions.  Yet, through it all you will assist your fellow Riders and Walkers and maybe even help a Crew-member so everyone arrives at the day’s destination safely.
